Frequently Asked Questions
Find all the frequently asked questions related to our products.
Are the frames handmade or mass-produced?
All our frames are handmade and assembled in-house.
Do you offer frames with custom logos or branding?
Yes, we can create a frame/wall and add a custom logo or branding with different materials (dibond, PVC, wood, plexiglass).
What materials are used?
For the design of a frame, the American box is made of black aluminum or wood and the base on which the plants are placed is a 3mm poplar plate.
Our green walls therefore only have the poplar plate.
What is stabilized?
Stabilization is a process that involves removing the sap from a tree or plant using a natural solution, thereby freezing the plant in its current state. This process means that stabilized plants cannot be displayed outdoors and must be kept indoors only.
What styles of stabilized do you offer?
We offer three different possibilities:
- Intense style: a composition made on a moss base where we add moss balls, plants and wood (optional).
- Foam ball style: a composition made entirely of foam balls, generally used with a logo
- lichen style: composition only of lichen with the possibility of color variation.
Should I water or cut the plants?
No, stabilized plants are frozen in time and require no maintenance!
Can the frame lose its color over time?
Yes, plants may change color slightly or turn yellow depending on their exposure to sunlight. Plants exposed to sunlight for long periods of time may change color.
It is therefore preferable not to place the frame/wall on a wall that is greatly exposed to the sun.
What is the lifespan of a stabilized frame/wall?
The lifespan of a stabilized green frame or wall placed in good conditions is generally 8 to 10 years.
What are the best conditions for preserving a stabilized frame/wall?
In order to best preserve the plants, it is important that the frame/wall is:
- Away from regular temperature changes (entrance doors, air conditioning, heating)
- Protected from continuous exposure to the sun (this risks causing the plants to turn yellow and damage them)
- With a safety distance (ideally avoid wall corners) to avoid damage to the wall/frame due to passage.
What is synthetic?
Our synthetic panels are made from UV-resistant synthetic foliage (plastic) and can be placed indoors and outdoors.
We have several styles of panels and these are sold individually. 1 panel = 1 m²
How to clean a plant frame?
To clean a plant frame, you must first know what type of frame it is.
Synthetic: Synthetic tiles are made to be UV and outdoor resistant and can therefore be cleaned with water, brush or air.
Stabilized: since stabilized is more fragile, it is preferable to use a dusting spray.
Can the frame be fixed to all types of walls?
As soon as you have a project, we can send our installers to take measurements and see whether or not it is possible to place the frame/wall in the desired location.
Can we order custom frames?
Yes, all our frames and walls are custom-made.
Can we get a personalized quote?
Yes, each quote can be personalized.
Can I install the frame myself?
Yes, in the quote that will be sent to you, you will find a section including the delivery and installation of the frame/green wall. However, it is possible not to request that we install it. In this case, you will either have to have the frame shipped to you or come and pick it up from us at the following address:
1 Allée Alberto Santos Dumont, 51100 Reims, France
Can I choose the plants or the composition of the frame?
We have a default composition template that we apply, but it is possible to modify this depending on our stocks and what you want.
Additional costs may be added depending on the density or quantity of material added.
